Only four goals were scored in one of the lowest-scoring weeks in La Berliga history.

Week 7 Recap

The first game between Atletico Madrink and Werder Beermen was canceled as Atletico did not have enough players.  The Beermen were credited with their first win of the season.

Next, Real Social Dads toppled league leaders Birrareal 4-0.  The result makes the league table much more interesting going into the closing phase of the season.  Andrea Porelli came up big for the Dads and was rewarded with Man of the Match honors.  It was the first game Birrareal has been held scoreless in many seasons.

In the final game, Shaktar Donuts and Pathetic Bilbao played to a scoreless draw.  Both teams had their best defensive performances of the season, but they were unable to find the back of the net. Marco Falzoni won Man of the Match for Pathetic Bilbao.  Haseeb Haseeb and Claudio Chiacchia were the strongest performers for Shaktar.

Week 8 Preview

In the first match of Week 8, Pathetic Bilbao and Atletico Madrink take the field.  Atletico forfeited their last two games, but they only need one more player to field a team this week.  Pathetic Bilbao is looking to climb back up the table and potentially challenge for the league title.

Next, Real Social Dads will play Shaktar Donuts.  Shaktar is hungry for goals after their scoreless draw, but the Dads have the momentum after dethroning top of the league Birrareal.  Fubles is surprisingly picking Shaktar to win big on Saturday.

On Sunday, Werder Beermen square up to Birrareal.  Birrareal suffered a shock defeat last week, and the Beermen got their first win last week through forfeit.  Fubles is giving Birrareal huge odds to win with an unprecedented 88% of winning.
