Big Wins Mark Week 6

One canceled game and two big wins made up the sixth week in La Berliga.

Week 6 Recap

The Birrareal and Atletico Madrink game was canceled as Atletico did not have enough players.  The result means Birrareal remain undefeated in the league.

Real Social Dads crushed Pathetic Bilbao 14-7.  After a strong start to the season, this is Pathetic’s second loss in a row, and the team seems to be slipping from league title contention.  On the other hand, the Dads have turned around their season after a poor start.  Salvo Davì was named Man of the Match for the Dads.

Shaktar Donuts toppled Werder Beermen in a robust 25-17 win.  The big win was one of Shakhtar’s best performances of the season, and they will be looking to continue their good form in the second half of the season.  The Beermen are still searching for their first point of the season.  Matteo Scicchitano  put in the strongest performance and was crowned Man of the Match.

Week 7 Preview

First, Werder Beermen are scheduled to play Atletico Madrink.  Atletico still does not have enough players, and they need more new players to join.  So, it could be a chance for the Beermen to snag their first win due to a cancellation. If the game does go on, Fubles is predicting it to be too close to call.

Next, Birrareal will look to continue their winning streak against Real Social Dads.  Birrareal is shaping up to be strong favorites to become champions, but the Dads have been in good form and will put up a good fight.  Due to their dominant performances, Birrareal is a strong favorite.

In Sunday’s game, Pathetic Bilbao and Shaktar Donuts face off.  Pathetic Bilbao will try to rebound after two tough losses in order to recover a chance at finishing top of the table.  Shaktar was strong last week, but Fubles is still giving the edge to Bilbao.
