To the most important game of the week, one featuring the two joint leaders in the league, Birrareal versus Pathetic Bilbao.  In what was a controversial affair, Birrareal came out on top of a hard-fought game and beat Pathetic Bilbao by a score of 16-13.  On the Facebook group, Birrareal and Pathetic Bilbao discussed the rough nature of the game, and many players complained of injuries inflicted from hard tackles and fouls.  But in the end, Birrareal asserted their dominance once again, and all teams will have to try to take points off of them to have anyone else win the league.  Radu Ichim claimed Man of the Match honors for Birrareal.

Week 6 Preview

To open the second half of the season, Birrareal will play Atletico Madrink.  Atletico Madrink is currently struggling for players, and their game against the league leaders could not come at a worse time.  Birrareal is a huge favorite to extend their reign as league leaders, and Fubles seems to think so too, giving Birrareal nearly 80% winning odds.

Next, Pathetic Bilbao and Real Social Dads face off.  Pathetic Bilbao will be eager to keep pace with Birrareal and potentially revenge their defeat with a come from behind league title.  But, Real Social Dads put out a strong performance last week, so they will not be pushovers.  Despite their difference in league position, Fubles thinks this one is about even.

Finally, on Sunday Werder Beermen and Shaktar Donuts will close out week six.  Shaktar Donuts will be looking to solidify their third-place position against the winless Beermen.  The Beermen are still a force to be reckoned, and Fubles is giving only a slight edge to the Donuts.
