After the third week of La Berliga matches, the league table is starting to shape up.

Week 3 Recap

Birrareal topped Werder Beermen 20-15 to open the week’s set of matches.  With the win, Birrareal extended their winning streak to three to start the season.  Lisan Skenderi claimed Man of the Match honors for Birrareal with a 7.56 performance.  Werder Beermen have yet to win a game this season, but they have to take some positives out of this game as they only lost by five goals to a title favorite.

Next, Shaktar Donuts smacked Real Social Dads by a big margin, 21-7.  Shaktar improved to two wins on the season, while the Dads are struggling without a win after their second-place finish last season.  All Shaktar players shined in this game and scored above a 7.5, but Juan David Giraldo stole the show for the Donuts.

In the Sunday game, Pathetic Bilbao destroyed Atletico Madrink by a whopping 35-13 scoreline.  Pathetic Bilbao have solidified themselves as a potential challenger to Birrareal’s dominance, and they are currently equal on points at the top of the table.  It was another game in which all of the winning team’s players put in great performances, and Renato Flit was the highest rated with a 7.93.

Week 4 Preview

In the week’s first match, Werder Beermen faces in-form Pathetic Bilbao.  The teams sit at the opposite end of the table, and the Beermen face an uphill challenge in defeating Pathetic Bilbao.  Fubles seems to think so too as they are predicting Bilbao to be heavy favorites in this game.

Two winners last week play each other as Birrareal and Shaktar Donuts go toe-to-toe.  If Shaktar wins they can equal Birrareal in points and put themselves in the hunt for the regular season title.  However,  Fubles is giving great odds to Birrareal to continue their winning streak.

Finally, Real Social Dads and Atletico Madrink will play on Sunday.  Both teams have struggled so far in the early season with Atletico only notching one win and the Dads are winless.  But something will have to give, and Fubles is predicting it will fall in favor of the Dads.
