A winner has been crowned at the end of the La Berliga regular season, but who will take the playoff glory?
Week 10 Recap
Pathetic Bilbao returned to their early season and claimed a 17-15 victory over Atletico Madrink. Piang Nattapark was the Man of the Match for Pathetic Bilbao, and he helped his team solidify a third-place position going into the playoffs. With the loss, Atletico Madrink finished in last place, and they face an uphill battle in postseason play.
Werder Beermen got the best of Shaktar Donuts with a 20-15 win. Werder Beermen finished the season strong with 15 points, but they only were able to finish fourth in the table. A strong team performance from the Beermen bodes well for their postseason hopes, especially when Liviu Dan puts in match-winning performances. Shaktar lucked out with other results and remained steady in their fifth place spot going into the playoffs.
Birrareal stole the show this week and won their decisive game against Real Social Dads 20-17 to claim the regular season title. Andrea Porelli put in a stellar 7.8 performance for the title winners as they won their all-important match. The Dads still held onto to their second place finish, and they will be eager for revenge in the playoffs.
The Quarterfinal will take place on November 24th, and the winners will go on to play in the semifinals on December 1. Finally, the bronze match and final will be played on December 9.
In the first quarterfinal match, Pathetic Bilbao faces Atletico Madrink. This is a rematch from the previous week, so Pathetic Bilbao will think they are heavy favorites. And, Fubles thinks so too, giving a huge advantage to Pathetic.
