The La Berliga league table is now shaping up, and it promises to be a tight run-in to the league title.
Week 6 Recap
In our first match of the week, Shaktar Donuts smacked Atletico Madrink 22-8. The Donuts were reeling at the bottom of the table, and the win might turn around their season. Marco Rizotti claimed Man of the Match for the Donuts in an impressive rout of Atletico. Atletico now is in last place, and they will need to turn it around quickly if they wish to climb out of that spot by the end of the season.
Next, Birrareal downed Werder Beermen in a rivalry of beer-related teams by a score of 23-17. Birrareal is now edging closer to their strong form of last season and is now equal on points for first place. Kado Damball won another Man of the Match award for Birrareal, and his play has been vital for his team this season. On the other hand, the Beermen now sit in last place alongside Atletico.
In an exciting upset, the Real Social Dads roughed up Pathetic Bilbao and won 21-16. Valentino Pessina and Gulam Zeynalli starred for Real Social Dads and clinched the victory against league-leading Bilbao. Pathetic is now equal on points with Birrareal, and their chances of winning the league now look more in doubt.
Week 7 Preview
Birrareal will search for a leg up in the table against suffering Atletico Madrink in a tussle between teams on the opposite ends of the table. Birrareal needs to keep pace with Pathetic Bilbao, and Atletico will be looking for some points to climb out of last place. Fubles is heavily favoring Birrareal, but La Berliga is always filled with surprises.
Next, Pathetic Bilbao will face Shaktar Donuts. With a win, Shaktar could really turn their season around and be within punching distance of first place if results go their way. And, Pathetic Bilbao is hoping to keep their league championship hopes alive with another victory. According to Fubles, this game is evenly matched and too close to call.
Finally, Werder Beermen plays Real Social Dads in the last game of the week. Real Social Dads are looking to string some good form together, and they may have a chance to against the struggling Beermen. But, Fubles is giving a slight edge to the Beermen who are hoping to get some positive momentum going.
