Spread the love

Another four entertaining matches and some big wins are the story for the second week of La Berliga.

Week 2 Match Reports

Birrareal defeated last season’s champions Rubin Kebab with a huge margin of victory 20-6. Birrareal avenged last season where they finished runners-up to the favorites of Rubin Kebab, but in this match they perhaps staked their claim to be considered this season’s favorites.  Birrareal put in a team effort with high ratings all around, including a Man of the Match performance from Matteo Pastori.  With the big loss, Rubin Kebab players did not fair so well in the ratings, but a 7.11 rating from Lisan Skenderi proved a bright spot.

Real Coholics notched their second win of the young season after 21-14 triumph over Pathetic Bilbao.  This was Real Coholics first real test after they won by forfeit in last week’s match.  Real Coholics’ Julien Adm scored the highest rating of the game with a 7.35, and Erik Ivaldi also was a key component of his team’s victory. Tiziano Chiaromonte turned in a productive performance for Pathetic Bilbao, and he will have to continue his good form if his team wants to bounce back next week.

In the lowest scoring and closest game of this week, Atletico Madrink topped Werder Beermen 14-10. Atletico Madrink needed to bounce back after a heavy defeat last week, and they did so holding off Werder BeermenLuca Ludovici stood out with his 7.63 performance for Atletico MaDrink and was aided by a 7.43 from Anton Wischnewski.

The Real Social Dads won their first La Berliga game in impressive fashion with a scoreline of 27-20 over the favored Shaktar Donuts.  The Donuts looked like they would come out on top easily after winning big last week, but the Real Social Dads showed they are a force to be reckoned with in La Berliga.  Real Social Dads’s Salvo Davi scored his first Man of the Match performance of the year.  Fabio Pescante and Marco Falzoni were top performers for Shaktar Donuts and will be key to their future games.

Week 3 Matchups

First, we have Atletico Madrink vs. The Real Social Dads.  Both teams are coming off their first wins of the season, so something will have to give between these two teams.  Fubles is predicting a slight advantage and a win for Atletico Madrink, but the Real Social Dads are a big threat after their big win over Shaktar Donuts.

Next up, is a fierce match-up between Rubin Kebab and Real CoholicsRubin Kebab is looking to right the ship after a heavy defeat to Birrareal, and the Real Coholics will be hoping to extend their winning streak to three and stay undefeated in the new season.  Fubles gives a slight edge to Real Coholics but with only a 55% advantage, it should be a close game.

In form Birrareal will take on Shaktar DonutsBirrareal will hope to continue their hot form after a victory over last season’s champs and Shaktar Donuts will need to respond to this week’s loss.  Perhaps surprisingly, Fubles heavily favors Shaktar Donuts with a 61% advantage, but will tippers bet against the mighty Birrareal.

Finally, we will see who will triumph in the Werder Beermen vs. Pathetic Bilbao game.  This match features two teams in search of their first win, and this game could serve as a turning point in the season for the victorious team.  Fubles predicts a Werder Beermen win, but with both teams winless on the season, it is anyone’s game.

Tipping Competition

In the second week of the tipping competition, no one was able to predict all games correctly.  Still at the top is andreap85, and while some other tippers picked three out of four games correctly there’s still a two point gap at the top.  With still many games left in the season, make sure to get involved and see if you can win.  All participants receive 25 euros to bet at SkyBet.

Top Players

The Top Players Table shows that the race for top player of the La Berliga is still a close race and anybody’s to win.  No back-to-back Man of the Match performances means that it’s all tied up with one Man of the Match a piece.  Don’t forget all Man of the Match winners this week will receive a free 10 kilometers on Driveby.
